C-suite is always primarily compensated in stock. When they talk about shareholders, they mean themselves. If it doesn’t, this industry should have clawbacks
When I wrote "Number Go Up" (my feature in the second issue of the re-launched Game Informer), I talked about how catering to one stakeholder group (shareholders) above all others is rapidly eroding the foundation of our industry.
