I looked at all the accounts mentioned above. They have shockingly poor engagement.

I don't think there is unfortunately!

Try looking through some starter packs, lists of people you can follow either individually or all at once. Great way to find your twitter people who have moved here. A list here - order them by size to get the biggest ones.

Even if your content is still there, maybe consider unfollowing everyone? Accounts like Met Eireann, Irish Rail, Dublin Bus etc are still there partly because they have so many followers - even if a lot of them are dormant, fake or bots.

How are they determining their users though? By followers? The place is maybe 60+% bot or dormant account. People are not necessarily seeing posts. I ran a quick audit on Met Eireann. Nearly 400k followers? Not really.

We don't required it in Ireland but UK flour is fortified and most of our flour is imported from there. Don't know why we have not followed suit on this.

Very strange slant in that article about reducing birth defects among 'Latinos'. Folic acid deficiency doesn't care about your ethnic background!

I often think of this with housing - or any interior really. Lower light switches strike me as a no-brainer and should be standard. Also get rid of the bumps (I'm sure they have a proper name!) on the floor in internal doorways.

They'll do exactly what the US media did and report it as though it was completely fine, just another point of view. The US ambassador attending adds another element entirely.

But I think are about to be very well resourced and funded. Several elected reps and the US ambassador in attendance. You'd think they could never really be mainstream but we would not be the first to think that.

She might not be wrong.

Bringing a visitor around the Burren when at the top of Corkscrew Hill we saw a really cute donkey tethered to a bush. Stopped to take a photo. Boy popped out from behind the bush with his sign: "Photos with the Donkey €3". I assume the lamb holding was similarly monitised!

I didn't mean your question - I meant who'd bother assassinating him!
January 10, 2026 at 4:17 PM
I mean honestly who'd bother? He's a blowhard in an echo chamber, the vast majority of people don't even realise he's still around.

I tend to have an awake break around 4 or 5am, kind of the opposite of a nap during the day. Just become wide awake for an hour or so, then straight back to nod. It's annoying but I've gotten used to it.
