The news right now feels heavy and hard. If you’re feeling strong emotions, try and name them - out loud! - to someone who can listen. And ask them how they are feeling.

Sharing and acknowledging our feelings can help us feel more connected and safe.

Read this whole thread ... it's why when people say you should try and understand the "other side", I often don't want to. I don't want to try and understand why someone would think that society shouldn't take care of those who need it. The job of government is to take care of the neediest among us.
He said that people like me are the reason people like him can’t get ahead.

That he never consented to providing hand outs to disabled or poor people.

This is ridiculous. You can’t do research that is already ideologically aligned with an outcome! Otherwise your bias will skew the results. Research needs to be completely independent from any political body.
Linda McMahon: "Universities should continue to be able to do research as long as they're abiding by the laws and in sync, I think, with the administration and what the administration is trying to accomplish."

I love it when athletes talk about their mental health struggles. It normalizes getting help for the rest of us. I’m happy that Halliburton got help and is seeing the benefits. AND, I hope he doesn’t keep it up against the Knicks!

In space, Venus flanks Earth on the left, with a hellfire greenhouse effect. Mars on the right, which long ago had running water. Today, it's bone dry. Something bad happened on each planet.

Seems like the wrong time to limit the Nation’s capacity to conduct climate research.

I'm happy to see that therapy rates have gone up, but we still have a huge access problem! There aren't enough therapists, and its still too expensive for the average person. But, let's keep those private insurance companies that refuse to cover it ... www.npr.org/sections/sho...

Happiness doesn’t come from money, fame, or achievement.

It comes from living in alignment with your values & being with people who share those values.
