Hawaii needs to pull their kicker after that one to protect the perfect season. Very simple, like getting a pitcher out of there in the last game of the season when his ERA is 1.99

Done trying to post Playoff projections in one rip into the Bluesky text editor. Too messy, can't avoid typos.

But one conclusion I think we can make now: There's not gonna be room for Texas. They'd have a good case in a lot of years but the committee won't be able to justify that

OK, boomeranged around to thinking the Duke thing is 1) mainly funny and 2) a chance to get JMU into the playoff
November 30, 2025 at 4:36 AM
Cam Coleman letting AUBURN down rather than vice versa would be a crazy way for his time there to end
November 30, 2025 at 4:23 AM
Every time an Auburn receiver does not drop a pass, it feels like a major upset

That's the second or third read for Simpson and a complete dart. Varsity
Bama goes for it on 4th down and gets a Horton TD reception

DeBoer coaching like a man who has browsed real estate in State College, PA, and decided he's not interested
November 30, 2025 at 4:10 AM
My brain is so wrecked by years on the internet that I thought 42-19 was some kind of age gap dig. No it's just the score. The age gap at issue here is way bigger
Bill Belichick defies the odds and completes a full season at UNC. Tar Heels finish at 4-8.

Is JKS the most important left-handed throwing athlete in the state of California now that Kershaw is out of the game? Much to ponder
November 30, 2025 at 4:05 AM
Looks like Maryland finished last in the Big Ten. What an achievement
I will lord this win over @alexkirshner.com for his MSU should not play UM every season take as payment

I don't make point-shaving jokes anymore because it's too real, but in a different news climate, I would here
Auburn's inability to catch or hold the football today will be studied

For real though. Chaos is great but having to watch a bad 7-5 Duke team in a conference title game while an actual good team sits home because of tiebreaker minutiae is just bad
This might be an unpopular take ... but if I'm the ACC and Cal upsets SMU, I override the tiebreakers and put Miami in the ACC championship game against Virginia.

Good work by DJ Durkin on the biggest night of his life to finally let Alabama run the ball effectively
November 30, 2025 at 1:51 AM
John Cohen, Greg Sankey, Lane Kiffin, Hugh Freeze, Jimbo Fisher, and several other major SEC figures have not forgotten Jordan McNair. They just do not care
November 30, 2025 at 1:34 AM
The past four scrimmage plays of the Iron Bowl have all featured a pass hitting an Auburn player in the hands (three on offense, one one defense). Auburn players have not caught any of these footballs sadly
November 30, 2025 at 1:23 AM
The story of the Lions lineman who attempted to come out of retirement with a grade-3 hamstring strain (see this whole thread) is incomprehensible
November 30, 2025 at 1:16 AM
Take one guess what happened here lol
November 30, 2025 at 1:05 AM
Bama five-wide on the second snap of the Iron Bowl and running a WR end-around with a holding flag. They're going to reach astonishing levels of "not even pretending to try to run the ball" as this game goes on

Made this one for TikTok but wanted to highlight one of the CFB teams I've most enjoyed watching the past few years: Jacksonville State, which is going back to the CUSA title game (with a new coach and team) but still has a simple mission: to run your ass over from odd formations
November 30, 2025 at 12:17 AM
Not trying to start a pile but I don't get why ppl choose to watch sports this way on socials. I enjoy posting on CFB Saturdays in part because it's a fun real-time chronicle of how it felt to watch a bunch of games live. In-game bad feelings can't "age like milk." They're in-game feelings!
This aged like milk.

If it comes down to it, vastly prefer Vandy over Oklahoma in the playoff. Not that they asked me or that they're gonna flip teams from 8 and 14 after they both win. But we all know what we're looking at here
November 29, 2025 at 11:54 PM
This really hits, good work by the game operations people
Many Men is back, this time with Barry Switzer teeing it up
November 29, 2025 at 11:24 PM
The perfect way for the Kiffin saga to end (by which I mean the worst way) would be for him to leak his decision in the middle of the Iron Bowl. Would be a new level, even for him, of making the entire sport about him while contriving victimhood
November 29, 2025 at 11:23 PM
I want to get in front of this now: In the event of The Duke Scenario unfolding in the ACC over the next few hours, I would support Jim Phillips putting Miami in the conference championship game by executive fiat. He would have a media ally in me
