Done trying to post Playoff projections in one rip into the Bluesky text editor. Too messy, can't avoid typos.
But one conclusion I think we can make now: There's not gonna be room for Texas. They'd have a good case in a lot of years but the committee won't be able to justify that

For real though. Chaos is great but having to watch a bad 7-5 Duke team in a conference title game while an actual good team sits home because of tiebreaker minutiae is just bad
This might be an unpopular take ... but if I'm the ACC and Cal upsets SMU, I override the tiebreakers and put Miami in the ACC championship game against Virginia.

The past four scrimmage plays of the Iron Bowl have all featured a pass hitting an Auburn player in the hands (three on offense, one one defense). Auburn players have not caught any of these footballs sadly

Made this one for TikTok but wanted to highlight one of the CFB teams I've most enjoyed watching the past few years: Jacksonville State, which is going back to the CUSA title game (with a new coach and team) but still has a simple mission: to run your ass over from odd formations

Not trying to start a pile but I don't get why ppl choose to watch sports this way on socials. I enjoy posting on CFB Saturdays in part because it's a fun real-time chronicle of how it felt to watch a bunch of games live. In-game bad feelings can't "age like milk." They're in-game feelings!

If it comes down to it, vastly prefer Vandy over Oklahoma in the playoff. Not that they asked me or that they're gonna flip teams from 8 and 14 after they both win. But we all know what we're looking at here

The perfect way for the Kiffin saga to end (by which I mean the worst way) would be for him to leak his decision in the middle of the Iron Bowl. Would be a new level, even for him, of making the entire sport about him while contriving victimhood
