The people of Puerto Rico have suffered too long under a failing power grid.

Yesterday’s island-wide blackout is yet another insult to injury caused by an unsafe & unacceptable energy system.

@naturalresources.bsky.social will continue to demand oversight & accountability.
Puerto Rico Power Outages Plunge Many Into Darkness on New Year’s Eve
Nearly half of the island’s 1.4 million utility customers had power by late Tuesday night. The electricity provider said it would take up to 48 hours to fully restore service.

I like ebikes in theory.

They're (better) for the environment, take up less space then cars, and generally are a good idea.

But hate having 50 filthy NYC-goo covered ebikes try and squeeze on a train when I'm just trying to get into the city.

@hankgreen.bsky.social I went to good.store to build a last minute bundle for family who said "no gifting" because I am, in fact, a boob, but was pleasantly surprised to see almost everything sold out.

This is, in fact, the best thing I could have seen. I'll find gifts. Profits to charity! <3

Watching my son, my wife, and myself suffer through RSV has been fucking torture.

If you can get the vaccination for your kids DO IT

For her and him, it's a very uncomfortable week with Tylenol and ibuprofen

For me, I'm fighting to breathe and am a (relatively) healthy (relatively) young person

These losers do this because their only shot at companionship is a hostage situation, so they spend all day harassing people into thinking a woman’s self worth should resemble their own.

If they tried being kind and not approaching every relationship as a transaction, they would be much happier

Lol, the number of accounts that follow me and have "follow me back or I'll unfollow you" content farming.

Get out of here with that, especially if you're posting about crypto, cars, or "business influencer" bullshit

I'm here to make dumb jokes and get a "like" from Hank Green someday.

@hankgreen.bsky.social 's new video about Bluesky says it all. When platforms quash your efforts to make a living through them, you're less likely to contribute to that website.
I hope Bluesky is taking notes, because I'm so over contributing to a website's growth, only for them to suppress mine.
