This is me. I cancelled everything stateside last summer. I am only presenting via webinars. I'm just not interested in visiting or presenting at any US conferences, and I am a US citizen. So apprehension of foreign colleagues is understandable.

I just got a passport and left. Saved a lot of money.

Good luck with that, since the wealthy and privileged classes of Bolivia will not, in fact, be subject to capitalism but will instead continue to receive favoritism, handouts, bailouts, and corrupt breaks. The very class of people who caused these issues will see no change whatsoever.

Lol. Renewables make up the majority of energy production and solar energy is exceedingly cheap to produce. There is a dwindling need for oil and gas. Why would we ever go back just because a 2nd rate oligarchy tells us to?
