Spent the last morning of 2024 at the doctor’s, discussing how my body’s basically an expired warranty. Here’s to 2025, hopefully with less ‘Why am I falling apart?’ and more ‘I actually feel okay today’.

Yikes! This massive cloud of hydrogen gas and carbon dust is called ‘Lynd’s Dark Nebula 43’. For obvious reasons, it’s also known as the Cosmic Bat Nebula, and I for one am very glad that it’s at least 500 light years away (photo; Jarrod Koh / www.theguardian.com/science/gall...
