We have to protect #LGBTQ media. If anything demonstrates this, it's what my friend @hamishsteele.bsky.social has been dealing with recently. LGBTQ+ media allows spaces for us to exist when we face minimization/erasure at numerous junctures these days.

Actual psychology: Bipolar involves manic and depressive episodes that are intense and disruptive, sometimes requiring hospitalization, far beyond ordinary shifts in mood.
