Started getting in shape about 3 months ago. Was hoping for people to notice the good changes. Now people walk up to me and go “gosh you look exhausted, are you ok?”

During stressful events I often remind myself that I can only control my self, my behavior, and my response to the situation. Everything else is not within my power to change. Influence, yes, but even that is not fully up to me. It makes day-to-day things easier to manage.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand the appeal behind furry culture. Not my cup of tea at all. With that said, most of you all are extremely talented at everything you do, and I admire the heck out of that!! Keep it up!

If you’re new to weightlifting, or just trying to find your place in the gym, don’t let anybody tell you what “lifting heavy” looks like. It’s all subjective. Find your comfort level, and work to slowly and safely push past it.

My only reason for cleaning around the house is to justify to my wife that yes, we are ready for a cat! As a dad I gotta put up the “I don’t want any pets” facade, but it’s gonna happen, sooner vice later!!
