It is so obviously evil to implemet the edit function for images via AI on Twitter during the holidays. So less people are likely to find out in due time and a lot of their art get's stolen and altered. Fuck Elon Musk and every single person using this feature!

yeah my IMO is: it's bad to use it, it's bad they left it in, it's good they removed it, it's good they disavow it, and it's entirely justified to have rescinded awards for it. i will continue to talk about clair obscur fondly.
With the new edit function over on Twitter, you can even remove clothing from women that post either selfies or cosplays. There are also the first cases of that happening. Now women get even more assaulted and abused with help of that shit! Fuck every single person using that shit!

It feels really great to buy a game and later find out that the developer uses AI like as if they get held at gunpoint. I was looking forward to the new Inazuma Eleven game. I will still play it because i already got it but it feels so shit. I don't want to support AI usage.

Doing your budgets or schedules with a technology that routinely hallucinates is a terrible idea (as is contracts, legal advice, etc.).
Doing docs with AI is making the primary source of truth unreliable for the team and creates ambiguity or conflict, and thus also a terrible idea.

As the backlash to generative AI in video games continues to pick up steam heading into 2026, it'll be fascinating to see what is considered "made with generative AI." Can a dev team say they're not using AI if they're writing design docs with Copilot or using chatGPT to make schedules and budgets?
