Joe Biden’s fatal flaw was relying on the reluctant institutionalist Merrick Garland to prosecute the case of insurrectionist Donald J Trump. Had Garland done his job, Trump would have been banned from office and America and the world would not be in this predicament.

Context:

@brian-goldstone.bsky.social is author of a powerful 2025 book about the human face of "homelessness": 'There is no place for us.'

Hampton Inn (and others) should change their policy.

Everyone should read Brian's book.
A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.

When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

This is outrageous.

Do you agree with Bernie Sanders? Should there be a moratorium on these AI data centers? It concerns me that our elected officials still don’t know about social media and now they’re tasked with regulating AI. It doesn’t seem like they’re even close to catching up with the times.

MAGA is going to incite so much hate against Somalians and Muslims that it'll inevitable lead to hate crimes and violence but it still won't bring down the price of groceries, lower Healthcare costs or help people get jobs. Also, the focus will go back on Trump pardoning fraudsters as well.

In his first year back in office, President Trump's Middle East policy has been characterized by "massive corruption" and self-dealing, says @rhodesben.bsky.social. Aaron David Miller says this approach by Trump is "undermining and skewing our national interest." #Velshi
'Massive corruption' and 'skewing our national interest:' Understanding Trump's Middle East approach
Since returning to office, President Trump has taken on a major role in the Middle East, from brokering a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza to deepening ties with Saudi Arabia. Former Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes calls out Trump's "massive corruption" in cozying up to "these rich, totalitarian or autocratic leaders in the Gulf." Former State Department Senior Advisor for Arab-Israeli Relations Aaron David Miller says that while the ceasefire is a major achievement, "building a bridge to a broader Israeli-Palestinian peace is going to be a very hard lift."
