We were sad to leave the rapa that’s for sure. Things have not been smooth sailing but he is home schooled now, so much safer & easier for him. My youngest son who is autistic too but not high needs is still in school but it’s touch & go lol. I’m a teacher too so the lack of support in general sucks

I really hope they are smart enough- I was on the bot of a wairarapa school & had to pull our autistic son out (not bullying but other reasons) then had to leave the area because not a single school out of 26 in the whole area was prepared to have a specialised learning support class for ORS kids 😢
