We’re reducing the cost of the school day, with free breakfast clubs in every primary school by August 2027, and a funded trial of after-school activities.

And as part of our Summer of Sport, we will offer free sport activities including swimming lessons for every primary pupil.

Scotland is the only part of the UK where child poverty is falling, and we are going further to continue that progress:

✅ Scottish Child Payment will be uprated to £28.20 per week.
✅ New £40 Scottish Child Payment premium for babies under 12 months old.

Because of this Budget, NHS waiting times will keep falling and GP numbers will keep rising.

We're delivering record funding for our NHS, which includes funding for the launch of walk-in GP clinics - helping you get the care you need, where you need it.

Budgets are about choices, and we choose fairness.

We’re asking the very wealthiest to pay a bit more through developing a new mansion tax and a Scottish private jet tax - while ensuring more Scots pay less income tax, and expanding cost of living support.

There you have it in black and white.

Let Deform anywhere near Holyrood or WM and you can kiss goodbye to our free NHS. Look at the US where health care is privatised and you have to pay for everything, and where bankruptcy faces if you can't.

Independence is the only sure way to escape that.
A free NHS Scotland, or a United Kingdom. Choose one, because you can't have both (regardless of who's in charge in Westminster).

There it is.

Farage and Reform would end our NHS.

Millions of people could not afford to be ill under a Reform government.

Some Tories seem to be 'saving' their ongoing incomes by slipping into bed with Farage. What happened to the moderate paternalistic Tories are they couched in private estates, enjoying the leather seating in the Hof l. or just ceased to be?

The Scotsman is beyond a joke, the Scotsman with BBC Scotland a disseminator of mistruth a current version of Lord Haw-Haw propagandist .
Kind of ironic that The Scotsman is an English propaganda tool.

Does anyone know when the previous Tory Government of Boris Johnson will be arrested for killing thousands and stealing billions from us?
Should they not be proscribed?
UK society is a horrific disgrace allowing that organisation to continue as though absolutely nothing criminal happened.

We thought we'd seen the last of him on our screens....these people are only interested in self promotion.
Nadim Zahawi arrived in the UK from Iraq as a child refugee. His family claimed asylum once they were here. Today he has joined Reform who will stop all in country asylum applications. Under his new party, his own family fleeing persecution would be immediately deported.

There is a poor choice of weak unprincipled career politicians for the English electorate but it makes naive choices like #Brexit, & egregious Farage is considered a credible PM.

Hundreds of thousands of Scots who were ineligible in 2021 due to age are now old enough to vote in 2026.

Younger voters in Scotland (16–24) have consistently been more supportive of progressive policies and Scottish independence than older age groups.

We need them all to register and vote in May.
