Keeping Postecoglou would have been a totally sentimental heart-over-head decision. But the thing is I WANT football to be sentimental. I want it to be led by the heart. A mad 'post-trophy/almost relegation' lets-see-what-we-can-do-now' season? That would have been something to be part of

If you're still grieving Ange leaving & aren't ready for any discussion of his system's flaws, stop reading now. That is a completely reasonable position - it's been an intensely emotional last month as a Spurs fan. People might find that weird, but whatever - it just has.

Probably the right choice. That was one of the worst seasons I’ve seen spurs have in my life, but the trophy was glorious. He’s leaving a hero and the club have to get the next choice right. (They won’t)

I think there’s a head vs heart answer for spurs and keeping AP. Heart says yes, head no. I think I’m around to the heart at the moment and just give him the summer and see if he can turn this around. I’ve hated the team this season, but he’s given us a trophy we craved. He’s earned the extra time.
