He played a few minutes off the bench last week I believe but he got a hockey assist on Hull’s second goal today.

Lower level 🇨🇦⚽️ news but Liam Millar got his second straight substitution minutes for Hull vs Wrexham getting a hockey assist on Hull’s second goal.

Juve have him as a lone striker and have had success. Do we have time to toy with formation changes?

Nice goal too. So out strikers both get UCL goals today. Promise was unlucky to not have gotten a brace yesterday. Davies is back playing again…-
all positive news.

Lovely goal. Why don’t they play Tajon and Tani together, though?

So that would be May 31st vs Germany and June 6th vs Senegal. I must assume that these games (whomever the opponents are) will be played in Montreal (and I have heard Ottawa?). Can’t be at BMO or BC Place as FIFA gets the stadiums two months out from the tournament start.

While I like the idea of a “big” friendly, I much prefer that we get the “right” friendlies. Who “best” emulates Switzerland and Qatar (and presumably Italy).

The US got their final window team, Senegal (along with Germany) and if we get that pair in reverse - Germany and Senegal - I would be 😀

Netherlands doing Norway and Ecuador, these three are off the board.

Also, Fringe.

Zeppelin, it’s a Zeppelin! If you’re doing science fiction/alternative history and you see a Zeppelin, that’s your clue that you’re in a dystopia.

Nice to see after watching Promise get denied by a toe offside and an impressive save on a solid header.

All the severed hands makes it seem like a natural for 2034, no?

As always, great piece. In his interview with KJ before flying off to watch Qatar play in the Arab Cup (boss move BTW) Jesse Marsch gave some hints as to the final friendlies (African, Asian and one, maybe two, European opponents). Any thoughts on who is possible/preferable?
December 8, 2025 at 3:19 PM
And by Suriname I meant Senegal. Gretzky issues.
December 8, 2025 at 12:22 AM
Great podcast guys, again. Any thoughts on who we might / should get for the last 4 friendlies? Marsch talked to KJ on Saturday morning and suggested a squad from Africa (Suriname?), Asia (Saudi Arabia or Uzbekistan?) and one/maybe two European teams (Germany ✅ and Austria?).

Agreed. Can’t remember if it was Joshua or Ben who mentioned that Ali had been fighting a cold all week and he may have just run out of gas. Shame. He elevated in the last few matches in particular. Has he played his last game for the Whitecaps?

I’m wearing my Phonzie kit today so I assure you I can get goofy.
December 5, 2025 at 8:12 PM
Even if it’s Italy and finishing with Switzerland I could see us with 5 points without getting goofy.
