This is Kitty. She was wearing a Halloween collar, which she hated lol. We lost her in 2013 just a few months before my dad passed, so that year was awful for us. Kitty was so sweet but a little warped because she initially grew up in my sister's house with loads of babies and toddlers.

The black cat is Brannagh, a highly intelligent little girl who loved my husband (the guy in the chair) dearly. We lost her three years ago. In my husband's arms is Tzimis. She let the husband train her to do all sorts of things. We lost her in February this year. Husband is still alive, happily.

On the back of the chair is Brannagh, a long-haired black cat who was crazy intelligent and loved to be read to by anyone. I miss them both so much

This is my great-great-great grandpa. He immigrated to the US in 1843 with his infant son after having served in the Prussian military. When the American Civil started, his eldest son was 17 so he lied about his age to join the 13th Inf. Co. G to fight instead. I put his story in the alt text
Joseph Ringswald, my fucking hero. He was in the army in Baden. His first wife and one of their two daughters died of illness. He remarried and had a son in January 1843. They moved to the United States in June 1843. When his son was 17, the American Civil War started so Joseph lied about his age to join up, most likely so Simon wouldn't be drafted and had to stay home to run the farm. He was in the army from 1861 until 1863 when he lost an arm during a battle. He lived for many years after that and returned to the farm. Dude was a BADASS

This is Grandpa. He was a soldier in WWII in the Pacific until he got TB. He received: American Defense Ribbon, American Theater Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, and World War II Victory Medal. He was a quiet man, and I miss him.

Celebrating Veterans' Day thinking about the many, many, many veterans in my family. Here's my dad, who was in the Army and who worked as a civilian mechanical engineer for the Navy for forty years. I miss him so much. My mom is with him in these pics, and I miss her too.

I LOVE trackballs! I've had so many over the years. I attached a pic of the first one we had when I was young. Since then I've had a bunch of different Logitechs. I have one attached to my laptop right now 😁 I let the husband have one of my old ones to use when he's using the laptop in the bedroom
