I know you aren't going to want to hear this but the reason the system can deport Mahmoud Khalil and send Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador is that for years we've been executing factually innocent people like Marcellus Williams and sending legally innocent people to places like Riker's Island.

Making MAJOR! was one of the most incredible collaborative processes I've ever been part of, and now more than ever it's so vital that WE preserve our history, in the face of authoritarians who would seek to erase it.

Our stories are our power, and they cannot be burned away.

Black and brown trans women started Stonewall.
Stonewall was an uprising against cops.
Stonewall is the reason we celebrate Pride month.
Stonewall is and always will be trans history.

Today, all links related to trans people are being removed from federal health websites. Years of research, policy, and vital data about vulnerable communities is being erased.

Cis folks, call/e-mail your reps at the local, state, and federal level and make it clear you do not want this. Right now.

Being trans is a joy and a gift! Some folks are trying to take away that joy! We will not let them! We will become even more trans and more joyful as time goes on!
