I finished reading the 230-page Google antitrust remedy ruling and put together my thoughts from an industry perspective. I think a lot of the data-sharing details are critical -- moz.com/blog/google-...

1928: "A chicken in every pot!"
2025: "Buy the cheaper turkey next year, folks."
Kevin Hassett: "Turkey prices were down 19 cents. I bought two different ones because some other show was criticizing me because I said, 'Oh, generic turkeys are pretty good.' So I made two this time and I didn't really notice the difference, so buy the cheaper turkey next year, folks."

Remember how Trump promised to exit Afghanistan, but had no plan, let the situation worsen, and then decided he didn't want to take any responsibility if something went wrong, so Biden had to make all the hard choices and take the blame?

IRL HUNTR/X at Macy's Thanksgiving parade ...
Okay, the crowd going nuts like someone just scored a touchdown at the Super Bowl all *through* the KDH performance is a hell of a thing to see hear/see:

This Thanksgiving, drop the weed, and hit the sauce.
Happy holiday or not or whatever

Alright, good day to *not* be on social media. Happy holiday weekend to my American friends, and happy Thursday to the rest (happy Friday to the Aussies).

I am so sick of every tragedy magically fitting the narrative, while nothing actually gets solved and no one takes any responsibility for anything.

I was going down an escalator at the mall (in my mid-20s), and this dude coming up the other escalator looks straight at me and says: "That's a fucking awesome-ass jacket, man." Language aside, definitely the most sincere complient I've received.
What is the best compliment you ever received? Putting aside whether or not you believed it.

Don't know about anyone else, but I could go whole weeks -- even months -- without any more Nuzzi + RFK, Jr. stories.

Trump could randomly hire lawyers by calling numbers off of billboards around O'Hare and still do better than his current choices.
New in PN: Trump's lawfare takes a big L

"In theory, Trump could nominate someone actually qualified and bring new charges against Comey and James. In reality, the Venn diagram of confirmable US attorney candidates and people willing to pursue bogus indictments shows little if any overlap."

You know you're ready to hit Monday morning running when you pour a glass of OJ, put the glass in the fridge, and carry the carton to the table.

Left Twitter/X almost two years ago (IIRC), but had kept it active for no particularly good reason (sunk cost fallacy, honestly, and fear of impersonation). Deactivated it fully today. There's no going back at this point, and there's no good that can come from letting Elon use my data.

Elon's the kind guy who stubs his toe on the table leg, gets pissed, punches the table, and breaks his finger.

Preview of GOP talking points when Q4 turns to shit. The self-proclaimed party of personal responsibility.
Hassett: "The only thing is that we're gonna see a lot of whining from left-wing critics of the president about the fourth quarter, because our estimate is the shutdown cost more than we expected at the beginning...we think the economic effect might be to cut economic growth about in half in the Q4"

I understand why the media has to cover Trump, but propaganda ministers like Hassett, Lutnick, and Rollins shouldn't be platformed at all. They say virtually nothing about policy, and what little they do say contradicts what they said yesterday. It makes the audience dumber.
November 23, 2025 at 2:35 PM
"Remember the bamboo from Part 1?" -- yeah, dude, I couldn't forget if I tried. That's not really a compliment.
November 22, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Lol -- MAGA absolutely scrambling to explain why the Mamdani meeting proved Trump is the Supreme Alpha and, well, actually, it was good that he was smiling at and complimenting the guy he was non-stop bashing last week.
November 22, 2025 at 12:35 PM
Somehow, I doubt that meeting went the way Stephen Miller had planned.

Literal little old lady (barely above the steering wheel) in a new Camaro cut me off this morning, and good for her. You live your best life, Camaro lady.

Trump's holiday message: "One protein is enough for you, loser!"
Fox Business: "Remember, if you do want to do another protein like beef, the price is still up. It's about 5 times the price it was last year. So just keep that in mind. Turkey is probably your best bet. Just stick to the one."

Make no mistake that blowing up boats of fishermen without due process is a test case for whether Trump can murder his political enemies in broad daylight.

Wil's a real one, and he's been doing this for a while. Always happy to support him and hope some of you will, too.
In 36h I'll sleep outside (15th time), in 30 weather to show solidarity with our city's youth who live in and need shelters / housing - shelters need funds to operate, as more young people than ever are coming into our shelters seeking safety, security, and love.

Trump: "What about Bill Clinton?!"
Libs: "Do what you gotta do."
Trump: "Larry Summers?!"
Libs: "Former President of Harvard? Sure, go nuts."
Trump: "REID HOFFMAN?!!"
