Reminder that basing funding on graduate income incentivises unis to close courses like nursing (too poorly paid), and to discriminate against female students and most minority ethnic groups (whose earnings on graduation are lower than white men).

Per Khandis Blake's work, women whose inclusive fitness runs more via male relatives are more accepting/in favour of practices which control women's sexualiry inc harmful ones.
In many cultures that practice FGM it's older women who perform it.

You want to know how many contrary 'no, shan't!' people there on each site?

It looks like it's a paper from Will Costello (who would I assume call himself an EPer) and Alberto Acerbi (who I think would not? He's a CultEvo person.)

"Key take-away: Political communication by mainstream parties plays a central role in the electoral success of the far right. When mainstream parties adopt far-right issues, they help to disseminate far-right ideas and legitimise them."

Full titles even longer but leading title is a little punchier and it gets both target disciplines in

I prefer behavioural BUT I think we went with social in text because it's a bit broader than just behaviour. So the title would have to match the terminology used in text.

(It's actually because I have all my CDs ripped and buy a mix of mp3s as singles and albums, and as such I listen to *playlists* rather than albums. These 4 were listened to either cos they were on a bigger playlist [Victoria] or because I was feeling nostalgic.)

This made me laugh, because apparently I'm still mostly stuck in the 90s...

Is there a way to 'connect' with someone so they can follow me but not see them in my feed? Because I'm happy to have various ppl in messaging range, but I don't need to see all their posts and it's drowning out the stuff I do want to see.
Bloody hate LinkedIn.

Well done them!
Reminds of me the time my husband solved a long running jealousy/conflict between our eldest and her same-age cousin by plating a game where they gave each other raisins or chocolate buttons or something like that. I was sceptical at first as I watched but it worked a treat!

Which is interesting because 'musically strong, lyrically weak' is the exact opposite of the last album IMO

Talia Cohen, 28, who started to suspect she might be “a bit spectrummy” after people kept directly stating it right to her face, has since read everything she could get her hands on about autism, including why it’s problematic to say “a bit spectrummy” – and has passed this sacred knowledge on...

Cohen said: “If I’m going down, I’m taking you all with me. I’m handing out epiphanies like Oprah hands out cars. You get an autism! And you get an autism. You only get an ADHD – but you can still hang with us.”

I was taught how to make more targeted correlation matrices using syntax in SPSS (using WITH; ironically easier to do in SPSS than in R). From that I slowly built to using syntax more often for tracking/rerunning purposes and I am very convinced that made learning R dramatically easier.

You can tell my (I like to think low level) scattiness is real precisely because it leaves me out of pocket on a regular basis and my (incomplete) expenses claims always go in a month or more after the trip...

Ah wait - I was quoting continuation rate. Completion rate on part time undergrad degrees in the UK is less than 50%. But total completion rate for lowest two quintiles on SES for all degree (mainly full time) is 84% - so better than apprenticeships
