It was reprehensible when people mocked condom usage at the height of the AIDS pandemic.

It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today.

Whenever someone takes any kind of step to protect public health, they should be applauded, not mocked.

Measles alert for Sydney.

"A person has recently been confirmed to have acquired measles in Sydney. This person has had no known contact with anyone else with measles and did not attend any known exposure locations in Sydney."

I was chatting with an endometriosis expert, in Sydney for a conference, who said: “It's very strange; in the last couple of years, we've started seeing malignant transformation of endometriosis in young women.” I replied, “SARS-CoV-2 is possibly an oncovirus”.

RED ALARM on H5N1. Data dump late last night from the BC teen shows that the sequence has picked up the necessary mutation needed for adequate transmission among human hosts. It’s got PB2 E627K. The same mutation that 1918 Spanish influenza had. We’re going to have a pandemic.

Buckle up.
