I haven't checked on IA Republican party specifically but I have seen for some of the other Nov 4th races the state Repubs are the only ones pushing out adverts. And lots of them.

The Dem party is focusing all the effort on the New Jersey and Virginia races. But, at the neglect of other states.

I can't even remember how many hours I had to stand in line the first time I went to vote. I remember I tripped on the unmaintained sidewalk in the dark when leaving though.

I was astonished to see hours long queues to vote in the USA.This can only be voter suppression.Here in the UK it takes me at most 10 mins & i have the option of a postal vote.However the UK is already following US in voter suppression (photo ID)

It is important not to diss voting too hard though. Elections are happening now, people have to show up and try. But, voting alone is clearly insufficient to address our current issues.

The baseline minimum for blue governors is to protect its citizens. They have a moral responsibility to use their resources, their police, every tool in the box to protect the people who elected them, even if it means their own arrest.
