Continuing the idea from the pitch bible about OP being her substitute father: Optimus placing Sari on his chest cuz he remembered it being mentioned somewhere as a way of calming sparklings, and the humming of his spark comforting her little spark <3
I know the most of the crew never even saw one But I keep imagining them taking care of Sari like she's a sparkling and some of those things working because she's half Cybertronian, but at this point in the story nobody knows yet, so they just assume that human children also work that way.
