it makes me giggle how any new up and coming indie with stylization will end up likely getting nudged by a certain set of assholes who really really want to find anyone at all that'll stand in this space with awful beliefs alongside them. entirely veiled attempt to reap attention benefits too

I think before you even touch on the ethics of piracy, whether it's disrespectful to artists, whether it's a moral good, whether information wants to be free, whatever argument you want to make, foundationally you need to be able to answer "is this ACTUALLY a problem or does it just FEEL like one?"
