Tried to watch Shrinking because I keep hearing how good it is (and Harrison Ford is in it). First episode is good albeit a little eye rolling. Second episodes completely lost me and I don't think it's worth continuing.

Frankenstein: As with every Del Toro film, it looks very nice but is just so dull and sterile. No atmosphere, no chemistry, bad performances (Isaac in patricular is just too hammy), and the 'monster' looks like a boy band member. Bad.

Rewatched Rogue One after having not seen it in years and let me tell you, the work that Andor has done to turn that into a coherent film is incredible. Gone from being a not very good film to a very good final act. CGI Tarkin still a crime though.

Saw One Battle After Another last night. PTA remains the best American filmmaker working today. Absolutely deserves to be recognised for writing, directing, performances and music (incredible Johnny Greenwood score), but the editing deserves a real call out as well. 5 stars!
