7.) The audition 1999. I wasn't ready...I was not ready. This thing fucking hits you like a truck. I was not ready for it. There is no analysis. I'm in fucking shock.

Wrong, wrong, totally wrong. #Section230 is what allows the Internet to exist and for us people to have free speech on the Internet.

@fightforthefuture.org @evangreer.bsky.social Ugh...I'm really fucking sick of these organizations spreading their blatantly incorrect bullshit.

This censorship movement is not aiming to protect the children, it’s aiming to protect bigots and their close-minded ideology while forcing queer kids to be isolated in the dark! Don’t believe me? Look up whatissection230.com by @fightforthefuture.org, who, unlike the lawmakers, want to protect kids

I also wanna leave it on the bleak ending the film delivers. I dunno we'll see. I got at least two more east Asian horror films I wanna check out, "The Audition" and "Yoga Hakwon." But yeah I enjoyed the Grudge

Doesn't ruin anything, just a lil confused regarding the rules the film adds. But this is also a general thing that happens in stories like this it feels like. I'm unsure what to do with this series vs the Ring. Cause Grudge is actually the 3rd film in a series. And I kinda wanna see more. But-

rather instant. Like at most you'll be lucky to survive, a few days? A few weeks at most. But years?? Multiple years?? What happened to Rika in that time? Did she have mini encounters? Was she just doing something right mentally and then the curse found her again? Did the curse just wait? I dunno.

The film is told from multiple perspectives, which you kinda have to do with a story about a wide spread curse. But because of that, near the end it gets a lil bit confusing. We get a time jump. Which I think is clever, but became confusing regarding the main lady Rika. The curse is shown to be -

with them. They'll trick you into letting them in. Sometimes they don't even need to. You're not safe in your own bed. The most effective scare for me, was turning the "I'll be safe under my covers" thing we all do as kids. Into the main scare, as THE GHOST WILL JUST APPEAR UNDER YOUR BLANKET WITH U

just to lure someone who IS actually affected by the curse. You're just a casualty. Where the Ring had a growing tension, Grudge is only tension. The part I feel that shows this off best, is Hitomi's segment. And is the part that scared me most. They'll follow you, endlessly. Taking whoever along..

skull. Sadako has rules to how she works. The Saeki family don't. You're just fucked. The only rules you get, is an explanation on how the curse works. Then that's it. Dude you're not safe if you come into contact with any of it. Go into the house? BAD. See a video tape? BAD. Dude you'll be roped in

6.) Ju-On: The Grudge. My memory only goes as far back as 02. So I couldn't remember the US Ring coming out. Grudge 04 I remember vividly being advertised. And I was scared shitless of it. So I was always hesitant to check out the original. The croaking sound, the visual of Toshio, are burned in my-
