I'm concerned that many people I look up to are completely unaware that their digital lives is close to being stripped away from them by old boomers in Congress who keep making harmful laws to change something they do not understand because of one narrative they view it as: "child online safety".

Personally, I feel like not a lot of people on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok are talking about #KOSA with the same energy they had in 2023 and 2024… and I’m the only one screaming at what feels like a brick wall. 😤😢

A bit of explaining is all it takes for them to see how KOSA being passed is a threat to them, speaking from experience. Talk to your friends, tell them how these measures can be bypassed by kids simply impersonating someone else, talk about the lack of privacy and speech suppression this creates.

I want to see a world where trans people can walk down the street without being attacked. A world where they can go to the bathroom without being harassed. A world where they can exist freely without being murdered or stripped of their rights. We have to be the ones to make that world a reality!

Their rhetoric is the reason why we can’t live in peace, why we can’t love in peace, why we can’t even make it pass our 30s, either because of suicide or violence that they’ve caused onto towards our community. Would it kill them if they just let us dance and be gay and wear our skirts with pride?

We are so damn sick of these obsessive right-wingers who rather let their brains rot in their own hatred for us than let us live our lives freely. The fact that we are seen as monsters and pedophiles as well as purposefully ignoring science that supports our existence makes me sick to my stomach.
