📊 Where are the women in science policy?

A new study used machine learning to estimate how many women work in science, tech, and innovation policy across 60 countries. It found quotas are not enough & doing science does not mean leading policy.

Happy August!

Celebrate by supporting not a small business, but a tiny business :)

Just like Sea Turtles, we navigate and survive.

Most of the time. Okay, some of the time.

It’s so hot today.

One would think H2O is enough to cool instead of cook.

But there’s so much market saturation with coconut waters, electrolyte drinks and everything in between.

Thoughts on hydration.

Apparently the Titanic director thought ‘Oppenheimer’ skirted a grave fact.

Each Summer film offers transformation- of self, of worldview, of the ways we justify the chaos of existence.

Also, Barbara Stanwyck’s ‘Titanic’ is better.

Did I ever share my Editor’s Letter from the Spring/Summer “Transformation” issue?

Yes, I founded a magazine, too.

It’s called “The Magazine”.

Science in the context of culture.

My interest in life extends to everything.

That includes the important of the gut-brain axis.

I love how sea turtles are so resilient. That climb out of the sand is encouraging. And that’s just the start!

They really just keep going, don’t they?

Hi everyone!

Finally taking the time to join here.

I’m a scientist entrepreneur. I author + publish books, working on an app or 2, and run a magazine.

I think that’s all I do.

Maybe I’ll remember more later.
