I am not someone who enjoyed learning math in school, but I do think some standard of math proficiency is a reasonable ask of our elected officials.

Also it’s actually only a small majority of Americans who drink alcohol regularly. You shouldn’t have feelings if someone declines, and if you have a reaction of thinking “that’s really weird/odd” to should examine that! Many adults don’t drink for many reasons.

You know, sometimes I really regret letting the hospital suck up my energy and attention until 8pm, and sometimes I’m like “well, it’s better than reading the absurd news of the day”

For the record:
- SNAP benefits did not increase “many fold” during Biden’s term
- disaster aid during, INFLATION contributed to ⬆️ SNAP costs
- we spend $100 billion/year (equivalent to 1.5 months of military spending) to help feed 1 in 8 Americans… seems like a good deal

Shout out to #honkfest for being more COVID-aware and thoughtful than any medical conference I’ve attended (for musicians, it encourages testing before attendance, encourages masking in crowded indoor spaces, and actually offers high quality masks and COVID tests)

Ha I would usually go to Land’s End in Harpswell when I was craving the ocean, I don’t recall tons of successful sunsets trips… But it is lovely and you can look western-ish so sometimes you get lucky! Pic from internet, not me 🙂

I know there was a whole reality show focused on him firing people and there is tons of absurd things happening every day but this still feels surprisingly dystopian
