I sub applesauce for eggs in baking a lot, especially if I'm cooking for vegans. About 1/4 cup of applesauce per egg called for. Using it in cornbread gives it just a hint of sweetness that's really good

This reminds me of how I felt when I saw a commercial for dish detergent with the slogan "Dish Differently," meaning: don't wait for ur washer to be full! Run it at half empty! Dish different! And I went into a blind rage about how transparently this was just the company saying "use more soap!"
