For what it’s worth when I do make it I always think how easy it is and how I should make it more often (it can be a bit dry next day but with gravy or with chili instead of rice it’s good)

When I make it (skipped it this year cos having scaled down thanksgiving) I use this recipe and add a ton of sweetcorn - so yummy with butter www.angelfire.com/falcon/peach...

I assume you dry it first but actually im not sure. Basically polenta is cornmeal too (though maybe finer ground)

Yeah that works too. I suspect the link between miroir and miroiter is quite strong for me so shimmer and sparkle lose some of that connotation

Miroiter does mean shimmer but I wonder if ‘reflect’ works better in English and makes the dont easier to translate
