it's these little cracks that indicate the administration is in trouble; for someone like Greene, there's nothing innocent or spontaneous about these phrases - she is setting up linguistic outs so she can avoid political collateral damage when things collapse.

Once this all starts collapsing, weasels like this tend to eat each other alive trying to stay out of prison, so as infuriating as it is to see her in full 80s villain mode here, we can look forward to enjoying a bowl of popcorn and five pints of schadenfreude before it’s over.
