And yes, TikTok cannot play that role, but thats because that role cannot be played on a social platform in the world of 2025.

That doesn’t mean Twitter serves the same role now - it clearly doesn’t, although it’s frying a lot of brains with some pretty shocking effects in the real world. But places like TikTok can’t play the same role because elites don’t use them and there’s no true discourse.
