Thanks. I’m familiar with the CHC case. I should ask a bit more precisely: is there a list of DHS statements immediately post-incident together with evidence disproving them? Something that documents the consistent unreliability of those initial statements?

I once saw a DOJ job listing for a position whose main role was extradition. (Part time, but paid like full-time!) If only I’d researched the job before not applying, I might know the answer!

I was wondering about that. I don’t know criminal venue at all, but is it really just “where did he enter the US”? Or did there need to be some tie to the venue? That would seem to limit it to NY and Miami based on a quick skim of the indictment

I suspect the fear of a lawsuit is a big factor here. X Corp. v. Media Matters is terrifying - Musk has carte blanche to expose you to ridiculously intrusive discovery and tens of millions in legal fees in the most hostile jurisdiction in America. And will do so on the thinnest of premises.

I suspect the fear of a lawsuit is a big factor here. X Corp. v. Media Matters is terrifying - Musk has carte blanche to expose you to ridiculously intrusive discovery and tens of millions in legal fees in the most hostile jurisdiction in America. And will do so on the thinnest of premises.

Do they get votes on leadership under current rules? If not, that seems like an obvious change to make as well. (I don’t know how the current insular territories’ delegates lean, but better to make it more representative in any case.)
