Death seems the only desirable sequel for a career like this

John Fetterman, ladies and gentlemen

Trump has been illegally bombing boats off the coast of Venezuela.

Tim Kaine and Adam Schiff forced a vote on reasserting Congress's role over war powers and ending this reckless
warmongering.

It failed 48-51.

Murkowski and Paul voted yes.

Fetterman voted no.

Jake Tapper's career needs to be understood through moments like this, bringing on an obvious right-wing liar and manipulator motivated by personal problems, and patting him on the head and telling Andy he's such a good and brave boy and he's so pretty and we all love him. Save it for Fox or OAN.
dudesrock.bsky.social
That wasn't like, he's really impressed by how tough and resilient Andy was. Joe was skeptical that Andy was telling the truth, but he doesn't really push back against guests anymore, even when it's an obvious propagandist like Alex Jones. Jake Tapper didn't even go that far.

I thought for a while Andy Ngo was getting away from that claim because it was so outlandish to anyone who even bothered to check the wikipedia article about that kind of injury. All these years later he's bringing it back up again. Shameless. Joe asked, "How are you here? How are you walking?"
dudesrock.bsky.social
Joe Rogan had a good career in middlweight MMA, and he never had that kind of brain trauma, and neither did his opponents after the fight, and for a middleweight he hit like a truck. Most people have to be in a plane crash or extreme car accident to have that kind of injury.
dudesrock.bsky.social
The pressure changes being on an airplane at altitude would re-open the barely closed wound in your most important blood vessels that feed the brain. It would kill you if you did this. Joe Rogan was the only one to push back on this, because of his familiarity with injuries in fighting sports.
dudesrock.bsky.social
Surprising that Andy Ngo is still claiming to have had a subarachnoid hemmorrhage. That's a serious brain bleed over the brain stem. Most people don't survive this, or walk ever again afterwards. They definitely don't board a plane to fly to cable news appearances to talk about it the next day.

So much to take in. [Deleted], and 3 years ago, when the stuff in Portland had already died down. This guy is also too young to remember when that band was at the top of the charts.

I'm excited for Limp Bizkit, but I'm a little worried about Antifa...
Question
I'm sick and tired of seeing these thugs terrorize big events and am worried that they will try to interrupt Limp Bizkit's set. My gf (F19) and I (M31) are going to our first Lollapalooza and are concerned about the growing threat around the city

Since SNL is back I want to mention that short term cast member Luke Mones had an idea for a sketch they never did where a guy on death row is asked what he wants for his last meal and he says Olive Garden’s Never Ending Soup and Breadsticks and they can never execute him because he keeps eating

Michael Crichton got incredibly long-winded in his later books and I think he would have been absolutely insufferable on Twitter if he had lived long enough to see where social media was going

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.
