If pundits would like to talk about violence, a terrorist recently shot up the CDC and another assassinated Democratic officials in Minnesota but they sort of let both stories disappear

Not as threatening as motorbikes in DC I know but maybe we could circle back?

@wendylbelcher.bsky.social Covid killed my father, my marriage and my final research project for my Master’s of Public Health. Since 2020 I have been one paper shy of an MPH. I want this monkey off my back & hard earned credentials at the end of my name. Found your book and am hoping it can help.

I just got home from vacation / visiting my son & the world is not how I left it on March 29. First off, nearly ALL my NIH colleagues, & many friends & former colleagues have lost their jobs. I have purposefully avoided looking at my 401K, and only the most superficial of email scans. 1 of 2

Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

Support the #economicblackout - but click their Google ads, fill your cart - make them spend $$ for nothing and use your cart to send a message. Here’s my Target cart.

I supported the #economicblackout today. Heard it costs online retailers $$ to send reminders when you leave items in your cart. So I went on Amazon & filled mine with books like “On Tyranny” “Fascism: A Warning” and novels by MacKenzie Scott #blackout #boycott
Hope they get the message

If … as Emily Dickinson said “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul” … then anxiety and dread must be like nettles - a thing covered with tiny barbs that festers in the gut.

Pleased that my local paper - the Frederick News Post - published a special insert with bios of all past presidents, copy of the Constitution, amendments & the Oath of office. We all need a better grasp on our rights if we are to defend them. @cityoffrederickmd.bsky.social

Submitted my taxes - who knows if refunds will actually be processed.
Used @intuit-turbotax.bsky.social in response to promotion for free if done in January. I’m so mad. Reviewed & submitted, but button would not work until after the free period passed. #Bait&Switch

Representation matters. Truth matters
Let’s face it. White people are the problem.
Hey, while we're talking about erasing history:

In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun."

The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.

So they refused to announce a winner🤡

I have an historical fiction book that is stewing inside me eager to come out, I’m doing research but am intimidated at the prospect.

I have the germ of an idea for a short story that’s been on the back burner for decades. Perhaps that’s a place to start?
Tips welcome. #writingcommunity
