Took another break from A People's History of the United States to read Everything is Tuberculosis by @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social
It was excellent. It was very well studied, had a lot of information, and was absolutely engaging. Highly recommend.
Now to continue A People's History.

Today I finished reading Bossypants by Tina Fey AND Yes, Please by Amy Poehler.
I enjoyed Fey's book slightly more as it felt more cohesive. Poehler's felt like each chapter was an essay.
Both were great, though.
Next up is The Poppy War Trilogy by R. F. Kuang.

Today I finished reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Suzanne Clarke.
It's a long read. It has some interesting things regarding magic, but I didn't think the magic system was defined. I'm not sure the read was worth the read.
Maybe Sanderson has ruined me.
Up next is Bossypants by Tina Fey.

GM patented an EV battery pack that can charge twice as fast if you plug it into 2 EV chargers.

I'm starting to question if my solar panels can keep up.

Today I finished reading Becoming by Michelle Obama.
Remember when politics were simple?
Yeah, neither does she.
But it's incredible to see how the family of the president lived.

Today I gave up on Exodus: The Archimedes Engine by Peter F. Hamilton.
I'm halfway through the book and it's just not catching my interest.
Therefore, I don't think I can do an honest review of it.

Up next is Becoming by Michelle Obama.

Today I finished re-reading This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal Et-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.

It references Jabberwocky, a plus for me.
It's a romance novel, and it's fun. There references are incredible.
I highly recommend it.

Today I finished reading This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal Et-Mohtar and Max Gladstone, and, honestly, I couldn't tell you a damn thing about it with all the bullshit in the news.

Today I finished The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson.
It's about the Great Migration here in the USA that started after the Civil War up to the 1970's.
I highly recommend it for people working on anti-racism.

You chose this.
You chose him.

For the third time, you had a chance to reject his vitriol, to condemn his criminality, to prevent his lawlessness, to denounce his bigotry—and you flat-out refused. You even celebrated it. That’s not something I can abide.

Today I finished reading Alien Clay by Adrian Tchaikovsky.
It's an interesting take on how life evolves on an extrasolar planet, and has some interesting philosophical questions.
