It is with enormous sadness that we share the passing of our client Jack Shepherd, on 24 November.
A review of Jack’s first full length play, IN LAMBETH, recognised that his writing ‘makes you remember why you go to the theatre’.

In 1918, Jack Grossman, assistant to magician aka William Ellsworth Robinson (aka 'Chung Ling Soo'), famously shot Robinson dead when a bullet-catch trick went wrong.
In 1982, the same Jack Grossman recreated the bullet-catch on The Paul Daniels Magic show.

if you think you're having a bad day, consider 'Big Nose' George Parrott (1834-1881).
He was firstly unfortunate in having a genuinely big nose, and being called 'Parrott'. He was from France so it was probably correctly pronounced 'Parreau', except obviously nobody did that.
