Today's #BirdOfTheDay is #BirdsOnTheGround and I was surprised how rare that is in my library, I need to expand my bird photo taking outside of trees & water apparently!

Here's a Dark-eyed Junco foraging around the ground on Lopez Island though!

Saturday we walked through the whole LeMay auto museum in Tacoma. He could explain the lineage and significance of every vehicle we looked at, completely amazing. Definitely check out his blog (linked in the first post) if you have any interest in autos!

I spent the weekend kicking around Seattle & Tacoma with a visiting friend, who happens to be Bob Poeschl of "poeschl on cars" (poeschloncars.blogspot.com) and an overall expert on vintage automobiles. Some highlights included seeing a Volvo P1800 up on blocks at X-Ray Auto in Ballard and...
