My kid returned from a day of volunteering, in which she spoke to two separate people who cook their bacon the night before. She came home and asked if we have just been doing it wrong her whole life. I'm perplexed. Who cooks bacon the night before they need to eat it? I need to know.

New kid, here. My daughter kindly set me up (and didn't follow me? What's up with that?) Looking around, it seems almost like was that Other Place was, back when people could gather around and exchange information and ideas with other amazing folks from around the world and across disciplines.
