Sure, but if someone tells me that they're running a nuclear reactor to keep the demogorgons in the Upside Down, I'm not just going to start flipping switches and unplugging stuff - the ghosts might be ridiculous, but the radiation is real.

And doesn't act at all like an EPA guy actually would. I mean, he'd know that you don't just "shut off" a reactor, just for starters.

I tend to think of it as men and women being roughly equally alone, but men dealing with greater loneliness because a disproportionate percentage of men just plain aren't worth being non-lonely.

Yeah, Klebold and Harris were creepy dudes, by basically everyone's account. Some it was just stuff we'd now call "edgelord," but I think it was Harris who had some pretty elaborate fantasies about assaulting his female classmates.

Absolutely! It's hard to get rid of that language in my conversations with the red pillers, but I have trained myself to avoid talking about "earning" anything in relationship, most especially physical and emotional intimacy.

I work with some young men coming out of the red pill community, and this is a big part of it - if you buy a woman dinner because you're nice, it's a good way to show you're nice. If you do it to get sex, it's not a good way to earn sex.

I'd push back a bit on the Columbine line - there's as much evidence that the shooters were bullies as that they were bullied, and ... they were not well young men, and poorly regulated.
