Chronically ill neurodivergent "some kind of leftist" (the various labels confound me) gen x person of the he/him variety. Mostly keep my opinions to myself. Mostly.
Once again observing how conservatives often have this fantasy that what they do or say is upsetting people, and I'm sure it does a little, but most of us recognize them as sad and pathetic and move on without comment.

Fireworks. I temporarily forgot it was New Year's, and thought other things.

If people continue posting things where I have to guess the context, I'm going to start just making shit up.

You know, looing back, as one of those good at math autistic types. If I'm so good at math, why could I never catch a pop fly?

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Tossed something into the trash from across the room, then stood there not knowing what to do... cos I'm so used to having to go over and pick it up after doing that.

I'm afraid I don't tolerate transphobes. Surprised by how many of you do.

It's weird when republicans seem proud of things that happened over 150 years ago, when they're explicitly against those same things now.

Kind of funny that I recognize autistic bullshit rationalizations immediately when I see them, and f'n hate the kind of nerds that use it. We share a demographic. That's about it.

These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.
