I've said it before but the rot really set in when they replaced the intuitive Yes/No/Cancel with full pseudofriendly sentences which interrupt your workflow by requiring you to read and interpret what they're asking you. First step to pretending it's not a machine, trying to copy Apple's UI.

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

I mean American culture and politics has infiltrated and embedded itself pretty much everywhere, and a reasonable reaction to that at times is to tell them to eff off.
