The NDP in NL is the most progressive element of the NDP in MB, and the PCs in NL are far more centrist and to the left of the PCs in MB. And the overlap between the Liberals and PCs in NL is huge, basically Coke versus Pepsi, similar tastes mostly, but strong brand feelings.

Not sure how much SoaC does politics wise. But I will say is NL vs MB in provincial politics is kind of a different Overton windows. Both provinces are two party systems (with the NDP getting some seats in NL, much like the Libs do here in MB). The NDP in MB overlaps a lot with the Liberals on NL

It has been on my list if I develop a nostalgia for home, but honestly prioritizing over something else to watch is tougher when I directly lived those things in that place

Definitely this legacy, but I was in the Anglican school system (as a godless heathen) so thankfully there were no nuns, but I played hockey with some kids that were in Catholic schools and they always said it was best to avoid the nuns.

In Grade 3 I got detention once for bleeding all over the classroom, for unknowingly cutting myself open on some exposed nails and making a mess of some walls. I was given a bucket and a cloth and told to clean it up after class.
