So, courtesy of open house Melbourne, I have finally managed to take a look at the under construction Anzac station on Melbourne Metro Tunnel. It's due to open sometime later this year and construction is now complete. My thoughts? Well this is a thread for you.

Looking down from a pedestrian overbridge onto a four platform station on a quad track broad gauge main line we see a single car Redhen diesel railcar in Indian red livery and iconic orange chevrons on its front aprons calling at one of the platforms as two men stand on the platform - one of whom appears to be wearing a green uniform that was worn by railway staff at that time. On the lower front left corner of the railcar is a square black metal plate of a type that was carried by all trains into and out of Adelaide to indicate to signalmen and other railway staff which route the train was taking. This one has a yellow X on it which was the symbol denoting a Hills (or South) line service.
