making steaks this year but in the past I hosted/cooked for btwn 10-25 ppl every year for like…. 8 years? And when I say I am in possession of the worlds easiest, best, most lazy in the kitchen but the outcome is stunning turkey recipe in perhaps the world…I will not hear turkey slander

recently told a customer (when they asked) that I wasn’t especially interested in a particular new release that’s getting a lot of attention (I said, “oh that’s not really my thing but I’ve heard people are liking it”) and they scolded me 🙃 because apparently that’s snobby 🙃

I think that booktok (a phrase which in and of itself annoys me) sometimes, every so often, boosts a cool book that otherwise would not have had wide coverage BUT overall it contributes to waste and unnecessary churn at publishers. Furthermore! a lot of the books featured are very poorly written
