(The Atlantic) Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent faced blowback from observers and Democratic politicians this week after suggesting in an interview that “mom and pop” homebuyers are snapping up “five, 10, 12 homes” for retirement.
These out-of-touch comments were made regarding stopping large firms.

Congress must pass a comprehensive stock trading ban for members in order to put an end to the rampant self-enrichment taking place on Capitol Hill.
