Much ink has been spilled to the effect of "trans girl spinny skirt cringe" but I don't think people realize how demandingly rigid the rituals of forced masculinity are. I was screamed at for wearing the "wrong colored" shoes. Let trans women be girls, most were not allowed to be.
One of the great things about being a trans woman is giving yourself permission to finally like cute things that weren't "socially acceptable" to enjoy before.
[Not that this is the way things SHOULD be. Just finding small joy where I can.]

On the shoe front, yeah. I had someone judge me for liking some silver-y shoes one time, when I just called them fun and futuristic...
