✨ On Wednesday, the 10th Ave Bridge—linking East Bank & Cedar-Riverside and running parallel to I-35W— was dedicated to Kari Dziedzic. Kari represented our community in the MN State Senate from 2012 until her passing last year and we’re grateful to see her legacy honored here. ❤️

Today was the bridge dedication to rename the 10th Ave bridge for Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic. Senator Dziedzic is deeply missed and we are all so grateful for everything she did serving our community.

More SOUTHEAST erasure by a news organization that should know better. Also, the 10th Ave Bridge ceremony will be held on the University of Minnesota Law School side at 10AM, for those interested. Anyway, here it is under construction in 1928.

We had a great crew at Talmage Crossing Prairie Garden this last Saturday! We worked on pathways, weeding, removing giant Canada Goldenrod, & digging out an invasive mulberry tree.

☔️ Thank you to our Diverter Rain Garden Volunteers that joined us yesterday. New York Asters, Turtleheads, and Button Bush are all in bloom. They are loving this extra month of warm weather.

We will be adding another garden maintenance day in October, stay tuned for more details
