I do honestly think it's a way bigger faux pas in Slavic culture than in Western one (enormous vs big :P) , but it's still a rule in the West too.

I think the best description of where I am at, is achieved by extending "disability tax" metaphor. Through unpaid disability tax, I have accrued so much debt, the only thing left is declaring bankruptcy and closing the shop forever.

Today I had an unexpectedly positive interaction - the matter was adversarial in nature, but the person was understanding and keen to seek a compromise.
I didn't anticipate that. My cPTSD had the reins for the better part of the week, painting negative scenarios of varying degree of danger. (1/2)

35 is the level you get sentenced to if you were actually evil
above 40 is "cruel and unusual punishment", explicitly stated as such by Hell's Regulations.

I imagine my mom will spend the day phoning her siblings and friends to share the news: I made myself coddled eggs.
I don't think she will be in the wrong though. It was my first foray into kitchen other than making tea, sandwiches or cookies, in years.

I feel, with the world so hellbent on destroying itself, I need to start my C1-C3 Critical Role binge marathon now if I want to ever see it all. The return of my interest in the show - and it feeling genuine - signifies the return of my ability to be interested in something/anything. (1/)
