Got to visit four new train stations on the eighth. But my favorite was by far 33rd Street on the Lexington Avenue Line (6). The eagle holding the station sign is a repeated motif throughout the length of the original station; you can tell where the station was extended because the motif ends too.

Every time I visit a new train station, I take a picture of the sign. This was one of my favorites—Amsterdam Muiderpoort. Not only am I very happy with the composition, but it’s a great memory. The photo includes my bike and my friends bike—we were headed to Rotterdam!

Many know of Morty as the yote in the bathtub which he took as his first den to feel safe from the scary world. He was brought to the rescue as a pup around 12 weeks old where volunteers worked the following hours to remove 104 ticks from him, concerned if he'd survive (we're so glad he did ❤️).
